Patients

The WiSH clinic will focus on the needs of patients who are uninsured and who have previously or are currently facing substance use disorders. The WISH Clinic will also be operating outside of normal business hours, allowing access for those patients that are unable to access care during the day due to employment or family constraints.

Location

The WiSH Clinic is located in NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital (NYP-LMH) at 170 William Street, 1st floor, Manhattan, New York 10038

Directions to the clinic: Enter NYP-LMH through the 170 William Street entrance. Once through that entrance, please stop at the security desk and let them know you have an appointment at the WiSH Clinic. From the security desk, take a sharp right and follow the WiSH Clinic sign through the doors to the WiSH Clinic welcome area, where a staff member will assist you.

Closest subway station: Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall/Chambers Street Station (4, 5, 6, J, & Z trains) – 5-minute walk

To ensure the safety of our patients, all patients will be assessed for the acuity of presentation within the first 15 minutes of arrival. Other safety measures include secure storage of sharps and limiting access to enclosed, private spaces.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

We do not require medical insurance to see patients, but you are welcome to bring your medical insurance card and a form of identification if you prefer.
